GPT Frauder Owns Up! - Part 2

Welcome back to GPTReview.net’s coverage of “GPT Frauder Owns Up”! Last time we found out how he scammed a 4Seasons offer and how he abuses prepaids to his advantage. This article we’ll show how he promoted his site through lies and pretense.  

After the first discussion with the frauder, GPTReview was checking out various forums online for promotion and advertising purposes. I was checking out one forum when I spotted the frauder’s username as a thread starter. In it, he claimed to be a 15 year old teenage boy who had figured out which sites paid. Moving along, I posted and proceeded onto a Work At Home Mother (WAHM) message board. I suddenly spotted his username again. Curiosity killed the cat – I clicked on the link to see his typical message in the thread….only this time he claimed to be a mother of three children. When sympathetic moms replied to his thread, he posted back a polite thank you…and stated that his kids were doing just fine. Appalled, I confirmed that the referral link in this thread and the previous one were the same – he was lying to members on the forum.

Searching further still….I found yet ANOTHER thread on a webhosting board, where he claimed to be a college student who needed books and loved how the surveys paid him. Another thread – he was a college girl. Then, on a different WAHM site – he stated he was a mother of four. (I for one would like to know where the extra kid popped up from. An adoption, perhaps?) All used the same referral link. Here is a sample of the posts. Remember – only his name has been removed. The rest is a pure copy of what he said.
“Hey guys,

I am a stay at home mother of three and I've been looking for a way to help bring in some money along with my husbands salary. I recently ran across a site last month called InstantProfitz. It's a site that has tons of easy surveys and offers you can complete for cash!”

Meanwhile, same forum….different thread... He had decided to introduce himself before he posted his referral links.

Hey,
My name is [name removed] and I am from [location removed]. I am 15 years old and I am into making money online and working on websites
See ya around,
[name removed]

Shocked, I tried repeatedly to get in contact with him. My success came a few days later. The AIM conversation follows.

Clearly he was becoming bolder with his falsehoods. I was starting to get worried. Surely he must by now start to have some sort of a conscience pang…

We did not speak again for a long time. I became busy working on being the moderator for the MonsterPaysCash website…and forgot all about him until the day came when an affiliate suddenly began pulling out of the industry. GPT sites everywhere suddenly were stranded with no way to pay their members. Many switched their rules and TOS, adding new guidelines. The most common new rule to be enforced was that in order to join a site, you must be 18 or older. Many teenagers, disappointed, gave up on their respective sites and focused on new activities.

But not him. He had a new idea…
